Why organisations work with us

What a structured outside view offers

A second pair of eyes

Internal teams grow accustomed to their own numbers. An outside reader spots assumptions that have quietly become invisible to the people closest to them.

Fewer reports, more signal

Most reporting stacks accumulate over time. We help identify which outputs are genuinely used and which are maintained out of habit rather than need.

KPIs that hold up in discussion

A KPI that cannot be precisely defined is difficult to act on. We facilitate the conversations that produce definitions a whole team can stand behind.

Fixed scope, bounded time

Each engagement has a clear shape and a defined end point. You know what you are getting, when it starts, and when it concludes.

Discreet working arrangement

Sensitive internal data stays internal. We work under standard confidentiality terms and do not retain client materials beyond the engagement period.

Written deliverables throughout

Every engagement produces written output — summaries, notes, definitions — so findings are recorded rather than left in the memory of a meeting.

A quiet conversation to start

Not sure which engagement fits?

We are happy to spend thirty minutes on the phone discussing the shape of your current reporting setup before you commit to anything. No preparation needed on your side.

Common questions

Before we speak

What kind of organisations do you work with? +

We typically work with Singapore-based businesses where a senior person — an analytics lead, operations director, or CFO — is responsible for the internal reporting that goes to leadership. Team size ranges from around fifteen to several hundred people. The common thread is that there's enough reporting complexity that it has become difficult to keep a clear picture.

How does the Reporting Stack Review actually work? +

We spend the first week gathering an inventory of all existing dashboards and regular reports — where they live, who receives them, how often they're opened. The second week involves structured interviews with a small number of people who use or produce those reports. In week three we write up a current-state summary and a short list of practical options for simplifying the set.

Can the KPI workshop be done remotely? +

Yes. We've run the workshop both in-person at client offices in Singapore and remotely over video. For remote sessions we find it useful to break the day into two half-days to maintain focus. The output — written KPI definitions — is identical either way.

What is included in the sounding-board retainer? +

The retainer covers two scheduled calls per month, each up to fifty minutes, plus written notes sent within two working days of each call. You can also share dashboards or written reports for review between calls. The arrangement is month-to-month with thirty days' notice to end.

How do you handle confidential business data? +

All engagements are covered by a mutual confidentiality agreement. We do not retain client data or materials after an engagement concludes. During the engagement, access is limited to the people directly working on the project.

What if I need something that doesn't fit these three engagements? +

We're open to discussing adjacent work, particularly if it's within the space of reporting clarity and measurement design. The most straightforward way to explore this is a short call. If the work is outside what we do well, we'll say so plainly and, where possible, suggest someone who might be a better fit.
